Built for this decision.

For companies choosing a location or sales territory in Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific or Latin America, expansion advisers and investors screening regions.

A documented regional shortlist with the next local validation task.

What arrives in your delivery.

  • 2–6 regions by name or code: EU/EFTA NUTS regions or OECD regions such as California, Ontario, New South Wales or Tokyo
  • Seven Eurostat indicators, or six OECD indicators when a region is outside Europe
  • English PDF and editable CSV
  • Source dataset and update date for every indicator
  • Decision brief, prefilled action register and an offline decision workspace

The limits travel with the data.

Regional statistics describe the whole region. They do not measure demand for your product, rents, footfall or competitors. Latest years differ by indicator; some regions lack some indicators.

You pay for selection, comparison and delivery. The underlying source data is publicly available.

Leave with a decision and a next action.

A documented regional shortlist with the next local validation task.

  1. Compare the measured regional differences.
  2. Check premises, access and competitors in the regions that remain.
  3. Record the shortlisted regions with reasons.

Before a final commitment, resolve: Sector demand, premises costs, access, competitors and local partners.

The sample is limited. Your delivery includes a decision brief, prefilled tasks, an Excel decision workbook and an offline workspace. Evidence gaps stay visible; a research task is not a verified buying opportunity.

  • Population – residents on 1 January (demo_r_pjanaggr3)

Latest and previous observation with the change for every indicator. Source, unit and observation year beside each value.

Source and updates.

Eurostat regional statistics by NUTS region.

Coverage of the EU, EFTA and candidate countries on the current NUTS classification, with older codes accepted where Eurostat still publishes them. Regional datasets update several times a year; your report is fetched live at order time and every value keeps its own latest year. Reuse with acknowledgement under the Eurostat copyright notice.
